NIR and Raman spectra of PET (Poly-ethylene terephtalate)
PET is mainly found in transparent flexible objects like water bottles.
The NIR spectra have some similarities with the polystyrene spectra due to
aromatic and aliphatic structure.
Raman spectrum of PET showing the large aromatic
double bond vibration at about 1625 cm-1 and a C=O bond
coming from phtalic acid at 1750 cm-1.

the Foxboro Filter instrument.
